It’s no surprise that Honda’s Big Red has such strong engineering credentials. After all, Honda’s reputation for automotive and powersports engineering is second to none. And Big Red’s engineering features run far deeper than just its engine (675 cc liquid-cooled, fuel injected, overhead-valve, mounted longitudinally), transmission (automatic, heavy duty torque converter instead of a drive belt), suspension (independent double wishbone), it has a modular tilt bed with 500-pound capacity and progessive-action strut assist. It has three selectable drive modes; 2wd with open rear differetial, 4wd with locked rear differential, and 4wd with all-wheel differential lock.
